As a little girl, KobePi’s co-founder, Brenda fell in love with everything Japanese. Her favourite food was from Oishi Japanese Pizza which was created by her father L. Junji and uncle Tanaka Wasabi back in 2003.
Having spent countless hours tinkering in the kitchen alongside prominent chefs and her father, the creation of Japanese pies became instinctive. As her co-founder father used to say: “A pie is a pizza concealed, and a pizza is a pie revealed”.
KobePi’s gourmet inspired Japanese pies are the result of years of research and testing. Each pie is baked to perfection exuding the unique flavour of Japan complimented with premium cheese and extra buttery pastry.
